Sue Fagalde Lick spent many years as a journalist in California’s Bay
Area before escaping to Oregon. She earned her MFA at Antioch University–Los Angeles and has published eight books of prose, including Stories Grandma Never Told, Shoes Full of Sand, Childless by Marriage, Love or Children: When You Can’t Have Both, and the novel Up Beaver Creek. She has also published two poetry chapbooks, Gravel Road Ahead, and The Widow at the Piano: Poems by a Distracted Catholic. See her book page for details.
